Rakuten - American Express Partnership

The Ebates (now Rakuten) and American Express partnership posed a unique UX challenge. Ebates had never before paid members in anything but cash, and cash back is the fundamental product of the Ebates brand. Going from cash payments to Amex points was a challenge. I worked closely with the UX designer to create user flows that were intuitive, educational and encouraging.
